2. Purpose and scope.
The Site provides independent price comparisons and editorial assessments of travel connectivity formats: eSIM, physical SIM card, pocket WiFi, and carrier roaming. We do not sell SIM cards or connectivity products directly.
3. Accuracy of data.
Prices and specifications are updated weekly from provider APIs and airport-counter visits. Data may lag real-world pricing by up to 7 days. We make no warranty that prices or availability are accurate at the moment you read them.
Always confirm current prices directly with the provider before purchasing. We are not liable for purchase decisions made on the basis of data shown on this site.
4. Affiliate links.
Outbound links to third-party providers may be affiliate links. We earn a small commission when you purchase through them. Our editorial rankings are set independently before any affiliate relationship is established. We refuse sponsored placement: no provider can pay to move to a higher rank.
All affiliate links carry rel="sponsored noopener noreferrer" attributes. Third-party sites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Intellectual property.
All editorial content, code, and data structures on this site are owned by MySIM Guide. You may quote short excerpts (under 100 words) with clear attribution and a link back to the source page. You may not scrape, republish, or redistribute our data tables without written permission.
6. Limitation of liability.
MySIM Guide publishes comparative data for informational purposes. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of real-time accuracy. We exclude all liability for any loss arising from decisions made on the basis of our data tables, including connectivity failures, incorrect plan purchases, or airport access issues. Our aggregate liability in any single dispute is capped at the greater of $50 USD or the amount you paid to access the site (which is zero, since access is free).
7. Third-party sites.
Our comparison tables point to eSIM providers, airport SIM vendors, and pocket WiFi rental companies. Each of those sites operates under its own terms of service and privacy policy. We are not a party to any transaction that happens on a third-party platform. Disputes about a purchase must be taken up directly with the provider.
8. Acceptable use.
You may read, quote, and share pages from this site for personal and editorial purposes with attribution. You may not: (a) run automated scrapers that send more than 30 requests per minute, (b) mirror or reframe site pages as your own content, (c) use our data tables in competing commercial price-comparison products without a written licence. Violation of this clause may result in IP-level access restrictions without notice.
9. Governing law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Both parties agree to submit any dispute first to good-faith written negotiation for a period of 30 days before initiating any formal proceedings.
10. Changes to these terms.
We update these Terms when the site's features, our data sources, or applicable regulations change materially. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision. We do not send revision notices by email. Check this page before relying on its terms if you have not visited it recently.
